ANNOUNCING FUTURE FUND GRANTS!

The Community Foundation will be making the first grants from the Future Fund for Jo Daviess County, this spring. The new grant program will provide grants totaling as much as $10,000 to support ideas that will create a significant impact in Jo Daviess County’s future.

This will be the Community Foundation’s first grant program since launching in 2018. “We’re very excited to be in a position to start providing resources in the community”, said Eric Dregne, Community Foundation President. “We’re excited to see the proposals for ideas that will impact the future of our County. Of course, none of this would be possible without the generous support of donors from across the County who have helped build the fund. Let’s keep it growing”

The Future Fund for Jo Daviess County supports ideas that advance the future of Jo Daviess County and/or address future needs in our community. The fund focuses on areas of need such as family economic security, education, and community development.

This year, the Future Fund will provide grants of up to $10,000 to ideas that will create a significant impact in Jo Daviess County, by improving family economic security, supporting education, and enhancing community development. The total amount available is $10,000. The Future Fund may provide multiple grants in amounts of less than $10,000 based on the size and types of requests received.

Applications will be accepted between February 8 and March 31, 2021.

Grant recipients will be notified by April 30, 2021.

Organizations interested in applying for a grant should visit the Community Foundation of Jo Daviess County website at www.cfjodaviess.org. Grant guidelines and the grant application are available on the Community Foundation website beginning February 8, 2021.
