The Community Foundation announced four grants to organizations from the Jo Daviess County Youth Fund. The grants awarded this year went to Cats Care, the Stockton Library, the Galena School District, and the Jo Daviess County Longbeards, totaling more than $10,000!
“This year we had more applications for this grant cycle than any previous grant cycle, we’re proud to fund what we can and hope that people interested in supporting the applications we could not fund will be able to make these grants possible,” said Bridgette Stocks, board chairperson for the Community Foundation. “In the true spirit of community, we are posting links to the applications on our website.” People interested in supporting a project can work with the Community Foundation to make it happen.
