COMMUNITY FOUNDATION OF JO DAVIESS COUNTY

ANNOUNCES YOUTH FUND GRANTS

The Community Foundation of Jo Daviess County will make $10,000 available for projects that impact young people in our community. The Jo Daviess County Youth Fund will provide grants to support ideas that will create a significant impact on young people in Jo Daviess County.

Over the past three years, the Youth Fund has provided more than $30,000! “We are looking for proposals that create new experiences and better learning opportunities for young people and we are ideas that are created with young people at the decision-making table, said Eric Dregne, Community Foundation President. “We are grateful for the generous support of donors from across the County who have helped build the fund. Let’s keep it growing!”

The Jo Daviess County Youth Fund supports ideas that create a significant impact on young people in Jo Daviess County. The fund focuses on ensuring children and youth are healthy, ready to learn, succeeding in school, and empowered to contribute to the growth and vitality of our communities in Jo Daviess County. The total amount available is $10,000. The Youth Fund may provide multiple grants in amounts of less than $10,000 based on the size and types of requests received.

Organizations interested in applying for a grant should visit the Community Foundation of Jo Daviess County website at www.cfjodaviess.org. Grant guidelines and the grant application are available on the Community Foundation website beginning August 15, 2023.

Applications will be accepted between August 15 and September 30, 2023.

Grant recipients will be notified by October 31, 2023.

Gifts can be made to the Jo Daviess County Youth Fund in any amount.
